  • New Mexico Department of Transportation Hyde Park Road Closure (NM 475)

A $3.5M roadway rehabilitation project on NM 475, Hyde Park Rd., is scheduled to resume on June 4, 2025

Crews will be working six days a week, Monday through Saturday, from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. In an effort to expedite the project, the contractor will be forced to close the road to all vehicular traffic at mile marker 9, including bicycles, Monday through Saturday. The road will be reopened to all traffic on Sundays only.

Motorists are urged to plan travel accordingly and avoid the area during this time. Drivers are reminded to exercise caution, follow all posted signs and detours, reduce speed, and stay alert for construction personnel and equipment.

Cutler Repaving Inc. has been contracted to complete the work, and it is expected to last approximately 30 working days, weather permitting.

The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) remains committed to the safety of all road users and appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation during this necessary work. For the latest updates, visit www.nmroads.com or dial 511.
