Our Mission

The Lands, Minerals and Geology staff provides guidance, oversight and direct service on lands, realty, minerals, and geology management, including national training to Forest Service employees. We ensure the protection and stewardship of the National Forest System by adhering to law, regulation and policy, and we facilitate that stewardship through a wide array of internal and external stakeholders.
